Obituary for Sister Margery H. Rickling

Sister Margery H. Rickling, 90, of the Sisters of St. Joseph the Worker died on Monday, September 17, 2018 at Taylor Manor Nursing Home in Versailles, Kentucky.
She was born on June 10, 1928 in Cincinnati, Ohio. She was the daughter of the late Albert J. and Elizabeth Willmes Rickling. Sister Margery professed her vows on March 25, 1953. She was the last surviving member of the original eighteen founders of the Sisters of St. Joseph the Worker.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her siblings, Marian Ochs, Don Rickling, and Richard Rickling. She is survived by numerous nieces and nephews.


Visitation will be held from 1-4 pm on Thursday, September 27, 2018 at Taylor Manor Nursing Home, Versailles, KY and from 9-10:30 am on Saturday, September 29, 2018 at All Saints Catholic Church, Walton, KY. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:30 am on Saturday, September 29, 2018 at All Saints Catholic Church, Walton, KY by Fr. Matthew Cushing. Burial will be at St. Joseph Cemetery in Versailles, KY following the services.
