Obituary for Henry F. Berger

Henry F. Berger, 71, widower of Vonda Clouse Berger, passed away on Friday, December 14, 2018 at his home in Cynthiana. He was born on September 7, 1947 in Chicago, Illinois, the son of the late Henry E. Berger and Christine DuBois Harder. Henry was a graduate of Griffith High School in Griffith, Indiana. He served in the US Army during the Vietnam War where he was stationed in Germany. Henry retired from Quad Graphics after many years of service.

In addition to his parents and wife Henry was also preceded in death by his brother, Michael Berger and a daughter, Jolene Berger.

Henry will be lovingly remembered by his daughters, Jennifer (Denny) Powell, Versailles, KY, Jessica (Ronnie) Scott, Cynthiana, KY, Julie (Kevin) Averill, Homer Glen, IL, sisters, Jeanne Nelson, Portage, IN, Jill Berger, Phoenix, AZ, Jan (Ronald) Wasieleski, Portage, IN, Judy Murdock, Portage, IN, grandchildren, Dylan Scott, Cynthiana, KY, Sommer Melton, Versailles, KY, Kevin Hill, Versailles, KY, Christopher Bowman, Versailles, KY, Nick Powell, Versailles, KY, Jordan Powell, Versailles, KY, Jason Hill, Lexington, KY, Katie Averill, Homer Glen, IL, and great-grandchild, Kadence Hill, Versailles, KY.

Graveside Service with Military Honors will be held at 1:00 pm on Thursday, December 27, 2018 at Rose Crest Cemetery. Memorial donations are suggested to Hospice Care Navigators, 663 Teton Trail, Frankfort, KY 40601.
