Biography

Virginia Ann Guy, 60, of Lexington, formerly of Midway, a retired General Electric employee, died Thursday, January 28 at St. Joseph Hospital, Lexington. Born in Woodford Co., she was a daughter of the late Clay Edward Sr. and Virginia Bush Guy. Virginia was a member of the Historic Second Christian Church in Midway. Survivors include two sisters, Mary (Barry) Roberts of Lexington, Effie Edwards of Lexington, a brother, Alfred Guy of Midway, and numerous nieces and nephews. Three brothers, Maurice Guy, Roy Guy and Clay Guy, preceded her in death. Services are 1:00 pm Tuesday, February 2 at the Historic Second Christian Church in Midway with Rev. Edgar Wallace officiating. Interment will be at Midway Cemetery. Pallbearers are Charlton Brown, Willie McKee, Kevin Bennett, John White, Bruce Granville, John Hamilton, Daryl Jackson, and James Freeman. Honorary pallbearers are Fred Jackson, Robert Bradshaw Sr., Robert Bradshaw Jr., and Eugene Guy.
