Biography

Herman Owsley, 62, was born October 18, to the union of the late Herman and Jeannette Owsley. He was summoned to his heavenly home, Sunday, October 19, 2009. Mr. Owsley acknowledged Christ at an early age and was a member of Second Christian Church in Midway, KY. A Vietnam Army veteran, he served as a sergeant during the Vietnam War. He leaves to cherish his memory a loving daughter, Rochelle Owsley-Williams and granddaughter, Jessi Williams (Versailles, KY) and brother, Omar Owsley. He was predeceased by two brothers and 4 sisters and leaves behind a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral services are at 10:30 a.m. Monday, Oct.26, 2009, at Second Christian Church in Midway, KY with Presiding Elder Kenneth Golphin officiating. Visitation is 9:30-10:30 a.m.
